Yes. That’s what all we want to
reach.
To give the flash power of real

Just to add some wood to fire...
What if I just don“t want MP3 at the and... What if I want to send it
through RTP appl.??? For example,
in a videocon App, I want to be able
to add symbian mobiles (already RTP enabled) to listen to the appl... Or maybe
if I get a support center app. to start receiving VoIP clients, so I can unify Internet and Voice Call Center in
one pool.
I believe that the central idea is NOT to just transform to NellyMoser to MP3, but to put audio in the default java sound
pipeline, so I can convert easily to
reach my needs...
Just a thought....

Fernando Augusto

Get of them some prices.
Tell them that $1000 for transcoder is too
much and that’s it. No one will go for such shitty thing higher.
Maybe we should tell them, that implementing such transcoder
into Red5 will bring to RIA world really amazing applications.
You know. FLV to MP3 from Adobe, which was supposed to be released
this February (as far as I know), is not the solution.
We need realtime transcoder. FLV to MP3 is
nice,
but for static files. We have to transcode the sound to use it with other technologies.

I actually received an
answer. They have a solution for our problem. Provide them your estimated sales
volume and they will make an offering targeted to your business. That stinks.
They are the same kind of bastards as the guys form on2. Instead of trying to
attract developer communites,
they come come with this idiotic marketing and enterprise blurb. But we all now
that their technology sucks. For example open source speex is ages ahead to
NellyMoser codec.

I've wrote to NellyMoser about licensing a transcoder from FLV (or RTMP
stream) to MP3 or some buffer and no answer.
Does anyboady tried?
This I really need. It's so sticky, that we don't have this little but
sooo
important thing!
