I need to implement an application for voice and/or video chat. The application is implemented in flash and web based. A small 'plug-in' or executable might be tolerated in the clients computers. Do you think it is possible to make a 'tiny' Red5 only for voice or video chat, that can be installed on some of the peers computers? This way we can implement almost a peer to peer connection using flash as client applications. We stiil have the problem of NATed or proxied clients, but otherwise it should work... For the 'masters' behind Red5, do you think it is easy to do it? Any other crazy ideas? ;-)
