Red5 handles the strem at the rtmp level. Red5 doesn't encode
or transcode video data.
If you have a source capable to encode in real-time in vp6 and
communicate with FMS2, red5 can work with it. 
Unfortunately only th On2 SDK can do that at this moment,
because Flash Player can encode video only with Spark codec.
On2 SDK costs several thousand dollars.
