Sorry there was a typo - I actually run:

/usr/local/jdk-1.5.0/bin/java -Djava.security.manager
-Djava.security.policy=/etc/red5/red5.policy -cp
/home/afarber/src/trunk/red5.jar:/ org.red5.server.Standalone
/etc/red5/red5.xml
