Hi,

I'm developing an application consisting in two types of clients: broadcasters (every one publishes a live stream from a local mic-cam) and subscriber (can choose a broadcaster and play his stream).
Very simple so far.
The problem is that I want to be able to set the video quality-bitrate-framerate and to mute-unmute the audio of the stream received by each subscriber. I tried to use methods like NetStream.receiveAudio and NetStream.receiveVideo , but they don't seem to work at all.

hmm, which version of Red5 are you using? These two methods have been
added in 0.5 and work great for me...

It would be great also to be able to obtain a reference to a stream published (by a client) on server (java) side and work on it, so that the subscriber can receive the stream with appropriate audio-video quality.

Accessing streams on the server currently is not possible through the
public API, but this is something that might get done for 0.6.
