Thanks I was using a 0.5 release candidate.
With red5 0.5 works well, but I got problems with low audio quality.
I downloaded the tar.gz archive from the main site, may I try to update to the lastest release from SVN?

hmm, which version of Red5 are you using?  These two methods have been
added in 0.5 and work great for me...

Accessing streams on the server currently is not possible through the
public API, but this is something that might get done for 0.6.
