Hi Amarish,

thanks for sending your mail three times ;)

I have a web application that uses red5 do do some real time media
streaming. When I use the url: rtmp:// it worked fine. However, our web
app is now required to be ssl encrypted. Hence, accordingly, I changed my
red5 piece to use rtmps instead of rtmp and it doesn't seem to work. When I
check the log file, I don't see any movement in there at all for the rtmps
piece.

I'm using version 0.5 which I read has rtmps support. Is there something I
need to do in addition to just changing from rtmp to rtmps? If so, could
somebody please outline what these steps to be taken are?

I also tried to use stunnel to wrap the SSL and not change the red5 server,
but didn't have much luck with that either. Could somebody please share how
they configured the rtmp protocol to work over an SSL encrypted secure
connection?

Sorry, I don't know how to setup Red5 to work over RTMPS - actually I
also wasn't able to configure FCS/FMS with support for RTMPS.
The "open" method seems to be called by the client but then it
disconnects without an error message.

So if anybody has a _working_ documentation about how RTMPS can be setup
with FCS/FMS and a sample client, I can provide informations about how
to do this with Red5 :)
