Runs on Java you say, RTMP huh?... and the Wowza guys knew about the Red5 project huh?.... Hmmmm I'm not a the suspicious type either :-P  but well, when it comes to code they can see ours but we can't see theirs :-D  . Dumping all that C# development work or at the very least porting it to Java and being at a late beta about the same time as Red5...... Interesting says I while stroking my chin :-D     Hold off on the lawyers, I'm using the tongue in cheek defence.

Hope iChatBar is becoming all the more kick arse Dominick ;-)   Regards, Justin..aka "Yoostin"

Innocent until proven guilty, but it would have been unwise to not see how an open source project did something.  In fact, if I were them, I would have swallowed my pride and took a peek, but you never know.  It's true they can't use the codebase, but they learn a lot from our investigative efforts.  Anyway its good to have more groups in the same field.

yeah I agree with Chris, I don't want to come across like I'm suspicious by any means.  Wowza, at the time that I met the guy, was well on it's way with their own implementation of RTMP and the features of FMS.  So, nothing should be misconstrued about what I said. It was more a joke if anything ;)

funny you should ask.  I talked to the lead at FF Austin, and at the time, I could have SWORN he said they were doing it in C#, but not Java.  Now it's Java based.  I had told him he should come out to Red5 and take a look.  Maybe he did ;)
