Carolina, Red5 is a server not a client. Red5 is basically a free, opensource alternative to Adobe's Flash Media Server. Also there is the (commercial) Wowza Media Server. They all do basically the same thing. The clients that connect to these servers are the Flash clients.By using a server like Red5 you can develop Flash clients that can be eg. multi-usergames, stream live video (webcam chat), etc.
