hi,
actually I don't use Red5 to disribute the contents ;-)
but I've tested distributing some quicktime-mov to a swf.
ffmpeg converts it to flw and pipes it to ffserver, which
distributes the video. so no red5 here :-), mabe that's
the trick... :-D

I can send the ffserver donfig files if anyone needs them..
but I can say that you need a some processor ressources
left.. Iwas so stupid and tested it on my laptop, encoding,
streaming and displaying it in a swf... so my cpu was
nearly dead :-) – but it worked...

We've got a project which must be able to stream from
webcams. So I will test this with webcams as soon we've
got them... but this will take a week or to.

Mabe someone has a public IP from a webcam to test
this dunno .

cami.
