HiI'd like to start working with Red5 and so far have successfully installed the server (on OS X), run the samples, and explored some of the tutorials.
What I'm looking for now is some recommendations on documentation resources to get more of an overview of the Red5 application architecture, how it compares to Flash Media Server and its server- side APIs, and the general architecture of Flash media applications such as chat and video conferencing.
It's been at least a couple of years since I last worked with Java or Flash so any general recommendations related to the Java/Actionscript libraries used in building media applications for Red5 would also be helpful.
Ultimately I'd like to build a simple video conferencing app using Red5. Cheers Adam
