I recently created a webapp that streams my web hosting clients' flv files.
For instance, I've setup a permission based mynewapp/streams folder which
holds symbolic links within it that link back to my clients'
home/user/public_html/flv-directories so they can freely upload their flv's
via their ftp account yet stream through red5 very easily.

This is a sample link to show the structure we setup for this to work like
that:

http://www.allwebnow.com:5080/videoApplication/flvplayer.swf?file=rtmp://www
.allwebnow.com/videoApplication
<http://www.allwebnow.com:5080/videoApplication/flvplayer.swf?file=rtmp://ww
w.allwebnow.com/videoApplication&id=rcawood/MSCFLV/MSC_H264.flv>
&id=rcawood/MSCFLV/MSC_H264.flv

as you can see it works "alone". But, I'm trying to figure out how to
implement this link or parts of it into an fla file's parameter so the
streaming movie works within a flash swf file.

Here's an example of what I'm trying to do but for my clients (this movie is
just an example and uses progressive download of an flv within its own
directory):

http://www.allwebnow.com/test/test.swf

Currently setting the contentPath in flash parameters like this doesn't
work:

rtmp://www.allwebnow.com/videoApplication&id=rcawood/MSCFLV/MSC_H264.flv

Does anybody know what I might be able to do to get this link to embed into
an fla file correctly? Or, is there any sort of actionscript available that
would do this?

Regards,

Ben Wade
