Yes that would be interesting to see a writeup of hows it's used for
facebook. Maybe for one of the plugin modules ?
Re JMX, I havent had much luck trying to get an SSL secure remote
connection working, and then also have some web console able to view
all of them at once, ie for 4 of the 5 machines we bind it to a class
C ip for the load balancer so is not accessible on the public address :\

Hi Chris,
You can use JMX to get more info about a running instance of Red5.
Facebook using Red5 is quite cool news, can you give us some info
on what you are using Red5 for. For instance is it for VOD or Live
streaming. Are you using custom applications. Which protocols etc.
If you are just using a subset of the functionality there may be
ways to improve performance and stability.

Hi,
We have deployed red5 on a tier of 80 machines, and are sometimes
having issues with the server crashing/locking up on a few hosts. Our
health checks are just basic TCP connects at the load balancer. Is
there a useful utility available for a smarter health check, perhaps
to see total active connections to the server, active webapps, etc?
Thanks,
