Typical United, we`re well-placed in the championship and Europe then we play a seemingly unthreatening side. So, what do we do?
We show a staggering amount of arrogance and a total lack of respect for Fulham and how well they`ve done this season by dropping Keane and sticking Scholes on the bench, along with 2 other changes made to the team that beat Rangers. The team as a whole had a stinker today but Fergie has to share some of that blame with a team selection that basically said "We dont think Fulham are anything special so we`ll stick out a weakened team". And did we get bitten on the arse by that statement or what? We could and should have conceded twice as many goals and very rarely looked like scoring. I know Fergie usually knows best, his record speaks for itself. But I could see from the starting line-up we`d assumed this was goign to be a walkover. For gods sake Fergie, pick the strongest team, then if we go ahead and kill the game off then we can rest our players. Not the other way round. We got our just desserts today and I`m extremely peeved. We`ve been humbled at home by a very useful side.
