Scott - That is how it appears to be working for us too (from v6.5 through
v7.5), including deletes from the live server (not the best choice of words
by RedDot since they have a product called LiveServer) only occurring for
pages published while the option was selected.

However, we recently disabled this option because it would on occasion
delete a seemingly unrelated web site. For instance we published updates to
one page in our Alumni site and the entire Student Activities site (a
separate folder/pub pkg) was deleted. I cannot find any connected or
referenced pages common to both sites. After about four instances of this
over 90 days and three sites we disabled the Clean Live Server option.

Has anyone else experienced this behavior?
