Moring all. We have just started to allow web authors to edit their own pages, which is great in some ways but I'm sure will be a headache in others. Any the problem is that if we get a call from a web author about a problem they are having with creating/editing their page, we currently have to get them to release the page, and let us do anychanges to correct the problem. This is fine, but when we then go to release the page back to the web author, they can't edit the page because it is still in the workflow.
The workflow is set up that the author edits the page, releases the page, we check the page and if we are happy release the page to our staging server, then we release the page to the live server. Don't ask about the staging server, it is used more for web applications then for my use but we have to use it to keep things in sync. The question is how can I set the workflow up so that if I make any changes to the page that it can be sent back to the web author with the corrections done but not have to release the page for publishing? Does that make any sense? Maiott --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RedDot CMS Users" group.
