We have a press release section in our webSite. In order to make the list shorter we decided to seperate the years. Current year is displayed by default and a dropdown allows you to change the year. Each year contains its list of press press releases, another list which references the list of years. This solution is the softest one when you need to publish your press releases...no need to publish all of them!
