hi RDnewbee, When you publish out with multiple variants you will most probably find that the pdf variant is not connecting up from say the homepage all the way through the site to end content.
If you publish an individual page for both variants it will publish fine. Reddot publishes by moving through the anchors, references and category keywords looking for complete page constructions. It does the same for your pdf variant so if there is no natural linking from the point you are publishing you wont get the pdf's always appearing. ie publishing 'all following' and 'all related' from a homepage. Its not a solution, but its an explanation for whats happening. Solution is to publish from the points that have pdf variants directly connected. ie recipes hanging off a list with pdf variant, publish from the list.
