This is RedDot 101 :-)
Once you've created a template with an Anchor placeholder, you can
create instances of that template ('pages' in RD terminology). An
instance will then allow you to edit the value for that specific
Anchor. You can either 'connect' a page, if you want the link to
target another 'page' in your RD project; you can reference a link/
page if you understand fully the side-effects of that action; you can
directly assign a URL if you're linking to an external site.
That's all very easy to do in SmartTree view; for SmartEdit, you'll
need to add RedDot 'editing' placeholders (i.e. the actual 'red
dots').
Finally, if you just want a permanent, static link in all 'pages'
created using that template, you can just hardcode the href attribute
directly in your template.
