We're on version 7.1. Not sure what you mean about the "current search in asset manager" though, as the search doesn't come into it. The 7.1 asset manager (at least in our case) is structured as a set of folders with subfolders. Once you've uploaded a file to a particular folder or subfolder, you can't then move that file. It seems you have to delete it and then re-upload it to the new folder, which seems crazy.
