Ok... lets start buy asking the obvious first!!!! Im presuming you might be using multiple templates here...
So, have you wrapped the referenced dynamic anchor around 'Dynamic' block marks in the subpage template?? And is the dynamic anchor set up correctly within the subpage template.. i.e. you have selected the anchor to be dynamic within the placeholder link settings??
