We use a separate stf placeholder that if it is populated replaces the
headline of the page. Then we set that stf placeholder to accept
HTML.
On the template we do something like <% if ("stf_alternateHeadline" <>
"") then %><%stf_alernateHeadline%><% else %><%hdl_pageTitle%><% end
if %>
