We do a bit of both. We have two in-house developers: myself (with
about two years of RD experience) and another (with about 6 months RD
experience). Occasionally, we outsource some projects, and those are
usually completed outside of RedDot. If appropriate, we integrate the
agencies work into RedDot ourselves, but there isn't always time (or a
need) to do that. When we DO require outsourced work to be completed
within RedDot, we usually find an agency that can do this, although
they're obviously not as available as general web development shops,
and can therefore charge more for the work.
