Bobby, What version of 7.5 specifically?
There was a version released some time back with a faulty ImageMagik DLL - ended up spiking the processor and disk usage quite significantly when creating page previews or in SmartEdit. I believe the problem version was 7.5.2.16. Upgrading to 7.5.2.17 solve the issue for us.
