Hi all, We are now running a beta phase for the forum that we have deployed in the Solution Exchange community (www.solutionexchange.info).
I'd like to encourage a few of you to take part and help us test by choosing to submit some of you issues and calls for help there, possibly in addition to here. The reason is because we would like to test the functionality of course and get your feedback but secondly and most importantly perhaps for you, the forum will have more of the experts internal to Open Text looking at the threads so the hope is that we (Open Text) will play a better part in those conversations to what we historically have here in the Google Group. Of course, in a sunny world where everyone loves each other, the end goal would be more meaningful dialogue in the Solution Exchange Forum than here, which should be itself sufficient motivation for you to take part. However, that isn't going to happen over night and also I appreciate that some will be hesitant to give up a responsive community such as this Google Group. Therefore, all I ask is that you try it out and see how it goes over time and help us improve by having the constructive discussion with us direct. You'll need to register on the Solution Exchange and have an invite from a peer to take part in the beta. Some regulars here are already taking part so invites it should not be hard to come by some invites. Once in, you yourself can invite some peers. We've chosen this approach to stagger the exposure and testing of the feature gradually rather than in a big bang. Although currently locked away behind a login, that is not our end goal. Of course we would like the content within to be open and indexable by the big search engines and therefore this wall will come down during or at the end of the beta phase.
