Hi Kenny, Short answer is yes - it can be as flexible.. however does require a little bit of tweeking
Theres two ways to do this: 1. Create individual navigational areas that will display links in the appropriate manner for each section of your site. You can create any nunber of navigational template (with appropriate logic) to build up these areas. Each area is assigned a different name (or ID) which you then plug into the areas of the site where you want it to be displayed. 2. To create different structures for each section of you site using a single navigational area, i would suggest creating placeholder 'flags' within your top sectional pages. The value of these flags can then be acceessed by render tags within the navigational templates, and depending on the value - you can render the links accordingly. More messing around involved (and may incur a performance hit).. but if you need to output a consistent primary navigational area across all site pages or a sitemap - but the links are displayed different per each section of the site - this would be the only way you can do it. Hope that helps.. Cheers, Kim On Jan 14, 8:31 am, Kenny Dendow <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, > > I'm about to create a new project using 9 SP1.
