First thought reading this my thought is why 4GB+ Databases?
- Backup DB
- Move assets to file system instead of database
- Shrink DB logs (samples)

- Clean up logs, temp files, and job reports
- Check with support & backup again 'TRUNCATE TABLE io_exr;'
- Clean out deleted and unlinked pages (longer timeline but good
practice)
My guess is all those things would significantly decrease size of projects.
How many pages and assets do you have?
