ok you two great minds ;) does it _really_ capture *ALL* the messages
from the boot sequence? for example if a driver/server is coded that
it just does fprintf to stderr is that caught? what about echo's from
the scripts? (yes, I know any driver that does that is just plain
busted... what's your point? I can't catch them if i don't see it.... :)
