That sort of thing was done a few months back.  When someone responded
to help someone, they always prefaced it with saying that this isn't the
proper list for this, but here's your answer..  This actually worked for
a little while, but obviously it didn't last.  Personally I think the
signal:noise ratio goes way down when a new release hits and that's just
to be expected as people run into things that are different from the way
they were the previous release.

(Yes, I know its not what this list is for, but I don't see any way to
get those types of questions to disappear without moderating, and I
don't consider a moderated list an open discussion board)
