Hi,

I'm using RDUMP to dump redhat linux v4.2 filesystems to a DLT tape
drive on a remote server ('remotedlt' below). The first dump worked 
perfectly. However, since then, each time the root (/) filesystem is 
trying to backup, I get the error message:
'master/slave protocol botched' 
(see below for section from dump log). The other 2 filesystems backup 
with no problems. I tried changing the order of the filesystems to be 
backed up to see if it helped, but each time the error relates to the 
root filesystem.

Would anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening ?
