Hi,
since I installed RH 5.1, I can't get a new build kernel to boot. I use
the sources from the linux-2.034.tar.gz file that I downloaded from a site
that mirrors nic.funet.fi.
Cnfiguration and compilation work fine. Lilo installation works too. When
booting, I see the following messages :

Loading linux...
Uncompressing linux...done.
Now booting the kernel

and then the computer resets (as if I pressed the RESET button!).

I compiled the kernel with egcs-1.0.2-8 + egcs-c++-1.0.2-8 +
gcc-2.7.2.3-11 (standard packages that come with RH 5.1), and with
egcs-1.0.3a-1 + egcs-c++-1.0.3a-1. The same ..
(libc : glibc-2.0.7-13 + glibc-devel-2.0.7-13)

Please send me an E-Mail (to my private address, because I'm not
subscribed to the list), if you have any idea of where te problem can be.

Thanx,
Haykel
