After being unable to get RH5 installed due to the lack of a CD-
ROM on the laptop I downloaded the entire 5.1 distribution from
sunsite.unc.edu via a ftp get i386.tar.gz

After extracting the files I made them available via FTP and started
the install. However the installation stops and complains that

comps file is not version 0 as expected

Any suggestions on how to get past this? Did I grab a bad
distribution?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am struggling to get my
first Linux install up and running and am not having much success.
