I tried to install RH 5.1 by ftp, but it fails even with the newest, recently updated boot/supplementary-disk combination. . The ftp install doesn't work because my ethernet card (based on the WD 8013 chip) is not recogisned: autoprobe fails and the card isn't recognised even if I give the correct module parameters manually. There are no such problems with 4.2 on the exactly same hardware. Does anyone had the same problems? Any ideas for solution? I submitted this as a bug report to RedHat two weeks ago, but still no reaction.
