Intel Pentium 200, Trident 9680, KFC Smile 17" monitor, startX, redhat 4.2.
Only gets a jagged blue line and requires a reboot. No matter what monitor,
card or setting I choose. Can this just be corrupt Xwindows.? If so, how do
I re-install without taking the machine offline?
Or is there some secret I do not know about. Oh, one more thing, this was
all working flawlessly, until 2 weeks ago. Nothing changed. No X settings or
anything. And get this, just 4 days ago, for the fun of it, i type startx
and wala, everything beautiful. Now jagged blue line.
Reboot, take mission critical machine down. It all is bad. Please help.
