If I want to run Apache with the PHP module on RH50, am I better off
working with the Apache RPM's or compiling Apache from a tarball?

I'm thinking medium- to long-term. Nothing against RPM's -- I generally
love 'em -- but for some programs that have possible add-in's, like
Apache, I wonder if a traditional install has some advantages?

Thanks in advance,

Gene
