Greetings from a newbie!
I downloaded "festival", the free speech synthesizer from the University
of Edinburgh. Compiled it. When it started speeking its first words I
was breathless! Fantastic. But I continued to follow the manual, and
reached the instruction:
make test
The system crashed and now my
/dev/audio doesn't work.
How can I restore /dev/audio? Any suggestions?
