Hello. I am trying to recompile my kernel (which I have done before)
and getting parsing errors. I am using make zlilo. I tried a second
time and got the same errors. I reinstalled all of the kernel rpms
(rpm -ihv --force) and tried again, and I got parsing errors again
in a different file. I am a bit confused. Could this be hardware?
Does anyone have an idea what I might try? I am installing a tape
drive which I intend to use to reinstall a fresh redhat5.0 and then
copy over my configured stuff. Still I need to recompile to get
the tape drive to work. Help......please. :-(
Have a good day!
