I got myself a copy of the linux port of jdk1.1.5 from :-
ftp://lagrange.la.asu.edu/pub/Linux_jdk/
This has been written supposedly for RH5.0 accoridng to the author.
The file you need from the FTP directory is the last one in the list
which is
RH5.0_jdk1.1.5v1.3_static.tar.gz
