Because, IIRC, the ssl libraries that the RH version is bound to have
a bug.  Regardless, the commercial version works fine, I just can't
recall how to do the disable.

Why did you not install the version from Red Hat?  It comes with the
start/stop scripts.

In openssh, to remove ssh1 capability, edit the Protocol parameter in
sshd_config.  I don't know what it is in the commercial ssh version.
