I'd suggest the opposite:  If you're not using Red Hat's packages,
you're bound to miss an update and expose a vulnerability to the world.

Red Hat's OpenSSH and OpenSSL packages work just fine as well, and
you'll find them better supported here.  This is a list for Red Hat's
products.
