I am struggling to get TFTP server working on RH Linux 8.0. I have set the "disable" field to "no" in /etc/xinetd.d/tftp file. Rebooted the machine and made sure tftpd is up and running. When I initiate tftp from a client then the server responds with "Destination port unreachable" error. I have removed the firewall completely during installation and consequently I do not have "ipchains". Can anyone help me with configuring the host to ACCEPT "UDP" on port "69"? I need this to have the TFTP boot capability. I appreciate any help.

Thanks in advance

Srini
