The next chapter in my IPX tirade. . .
Looking at the IPX HOWTO, in the section on mars_nwe, right after it
describes the nwserv.conf file, it says that "if you've configured the
server to expect external programs to configure your network and/or
provide routing. . . "
Huh? There's nothing in any of the example nwserv.conf files that I've
seen where routing is configured, per se; *logging* of routing and
saving of routes is done to death, but all of the comments seem to
suggest that IPX *makes* its routes automagically. The problems I'm
having (ipx starts but doesn't communicate with other machines) sure do
sound like routing problems; so what does the routing if not nwserv, and
where is it documented?
Anybody know?
