Hi fellow redhat users,
I've been using a redhat system for quite a while on my desktop, but I
recently proceeded to install it on my dad's laptop. He's not too
impressed by the fact that when booting up with his LAN card if the modem
card is in the second slot, the system gets confused and reports no
network. So the only way to boot up when connected to a lan is to take out
the modem card and he doesn't want to do that. As far as PCMCIA is
concerned I am a newbie so I would appreciate any help. FYI we are using a
freshly installed off the network 5.0 system.
Thanks a lot,
Stefan
