I have noticed in Redhat 8 that ipchains is not longer available. This is a problem for me because i have some elaborate scripts that I wrote about a year ago that use ipchains exclusively. I have heard that the stateful environment provided by iptables and netfilter are better; however, I would like to gradually move into that sort of configuration. Is there a way to make ipchains work again in Red Hat 8?
