False positives are my big problem right now. I have Norton Antivirus for exchange on my exchange server and it includes a spam filter but it created waaay too many false positives and blocked legitimate email.
I suppose I'll just tune my word lists and block whatever bypasses my RBL's that way. :( Jason Cordes LeTigre Computing 713.681.8844 [EMAIL PROTECTED] -----Original Message----- From: Ed Wilts [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, April 02, 2003 9:47 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Spam blocking for Sendmail On Wed, Apr 02, 2003 at 09:02:19AM -0600, Jason Cordes wrote: > I'm using a rbl on my sendmail server here for my company but that has only > lightly cut down on the amount of spam some of my users get. We've had a large success rate with realtime blackhole lists and block thousands of messages a day. However, we still see a lot of spam. I've done some personal testing with spamassassin and I really don't like it - the false positive rate was way too high for me. -- Ed Wilts, Mounds View, MN, USA mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Member #1, Red Hat Community Ambassador Program -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
