Probably incompatibilites in system libraries or GNOME 2.2 or something similar. Perhaps the new threading stuff (there's a workaround for that in the RH 9 release notes which someone posted here earlier, provided that's the problem). > Is there a work around to get this to work. Get the source for Connector and recompile it yourself. Well, that is what you would do if Ximian Connector weren't closed-source. It's the nature of proprietary solutions that you are forced to wait for the vendor to make a release. That being said, Ximian will probably have a version for 9 sometime soon (probably after finishing Ximian Desktop for RH 8 <wink>). > Didn't Redhat Think to test this before releasing a new version of > Redhat? They didn't think to test that some other company's proprietary software works on their open source OS? I can't think of an answer to that that wouldn't be taken as insulting, so I'll just let you think about it. -- Cliff Wells, Software Engineer Logiplex Corporation (www.logiplex.net) (503) 978-6726 x308 (800) 735-0555 x308 -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
