Hi, An easy way to use this is to create accounts like:
dm1_bob dm2_bob where dm1 would be dm1.com and dm2 would be dm2.com Let say these two accounts reside on "domain.com", so in real life they are: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Then configure postfix to have incoming mappings, and outgoing mappings. For the incoming, anything to [EMAIL PROTECTED] gets sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and anything to [EMAIL PROTECTED] gets sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED] You then do the same thing (but in reverse) for outgoing address sent from each of those dm1_bob and dm2_bob accounts. So when those users send from [EMAIL PROTECTED] postfix will change it to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For whatever client they are using, all clients have the ability to tell the MTA what email address they are coming from f.e. for [EMAIL PROTECTED], just tell you mail reader your "From:" address is [EMAIL PROTECTED] >From there, Bob's your uncle :) Michael. --- tester <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I have a RH8 box with 3 domains on it about 17 > users.
