I normally just do a rpm -Uvh to install upgrades. It works most of the time. In the case of Mozilla, you will need to do something like rpm -Uvh *.rpm (assuming the directory ONLY has the files needed to upgrade) so that the dependencies can be resolved for the upgrade.
