OK, following instructions given by members of this mailing list (thanks very much), I disabled the CD 'autorun' feature in my RH8 box by removing the 'autorun' package (rpm -e autorun).

Now, whenever I start KDE, I get the message "KDE can't execute '/usr/bin/autorun'.". Although it seems like this message is not harmful, I still would like to get rid of it.

So, how do I configure KDE so that it does not request execution of '/usr/bin/autorun' at startup time anymore?

TIA,
