I asked this same question a couple of weeks ago. It seems as if the IDE
version of the Sparq drive will work if you compile kernel support for
removable IDE devices (like the IDE Zip drive). I had one report that this
would work, even though it is listed as "not supported" on the hardware
compatibility guide.
I think that the parallel versions of the Sparq drive can also be used.
There is an url with links to information/drivers for all the Linux
parallel port devices. I know they have something about the Sparq drive
here but I don't remember if it was successful. I can't remember the url
right now, though. If someone remembers, please supply.
